Since 2002, Bob Osborne has served as a police officer with the Bristol Police Department, situated about 20 minutes from Farmington, CT. Bob Osborne holds an associate degree in criminal justice from Tunxis Community College in Farmington, CT, and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in criminology at Central Connecticut State University.
A member of Bristol Police Union 754, Mr. Osborne was named a 2006 Police Officer of the Year. Apart from his professional and academic responsibilities, he actively supports nonprofit organizations such as Boy Scouts of America, Boys and Girls Club, and Vie for the Kids, which raises funds for clinical trials, treatment, and research at the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center.
In his free time, Mr. Osborne enjoys playing golf and going to the movies. An avid runner, he has participated in the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, DC, and regularly runs at Session Woods near Burlington and on the Rails-to-Trails network of paths near Farmington, CT.
